2017-2018 Class Archive

Welcome to St Patrick's Class Page!

We had a wonderful morning at Pizza Express today. We now know all of the ingredients needed to make the dough and how pizzas are made. We each got the opportunity to make our very own pizza to take home!

This week we have had lots of fun in Science. Our topic 'Amazing Me' has been all about how we change as we grow from a baby to an adult! We entered a time tunnel as the teachers brought in photos of them as a baby and we had to try and guess who was who before thinking about what had stayed the same and what had changed.

We kicked off our book week to a fantastic start by coming into school dressed as book characters. We also had a look at some of the new books at the book fair and chose 'Whiffy Wilson' as our class book for this week.

We have had a very busy half term back to school after the summer holidays! We have been learning all about our Class Saint; St Patrick. We have also attended Welcome Mass and are looking forward to our very own Prayer Service next week where we will be praying to God and sharing more about St Patrick.

In Literacy, we have been focusing on Traditional Tales. After reading Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack managed to sneak into school and leave some magic beans! We planted them and couldn't believe what happened... A beanstalk appeared in our school garden!

We have also been learning to follow instructions. We followed the instructions to make gingerbread men. The didn't manage to run away this time!
