The Key Stage 2 Carol concert took place on Tuesday afternoon, this was the final Christmas concert performed in school and a wonderful way to get ready for the end of term. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes joined together to tell the story of the Nativity and entertain us with a mixture of modern and traditional hymns and carols. The children sang and performed the story beautifully and every child made a fantastic effort to take part, whether they were part of a choir group, an actor, a soloist or a musician.
As with the Key Stage 1 play, the children were very confident and we were very proud of how everyone helped to make the concert such a success. Thanks to all the children and the whole team of staff working with them to ensure the performance was off such a high standard. Rehearsals for concerts began early in November and it has been a real time effort! A huge thanks again to Mr Gamage for his work with the singing and music, we are very fortunate to have a specialist music teacher working with the children and helping them to develop their amazing gifts and talents. It was fantastic to see how well attended this concert also was, thank you parents and family members for your support of the children.
