Welcome to our class page!
We have had a fantastic start to the year, so far! Last week, we were lucky enough to have a very special visitor come to our school. Jo Mersh, the Olympic 800 metre athlete, came to talk to us to share her experiences with us about how she became such a successful runner and how she didn't give up when obstacles came in her way.
We have spent a lot of time reflecting on her visit and what we learned and then thinking about our dreams and how we are going to achieve them!
On Monday, we had a fantastic day dressing up as bees to promote our 7 learning values! We made paper Mache bees to decorate our classroom which was great fun and we are going to continue throughout the week to reflect on our dreams and how we can use our learning values to achieve them and 'bee' the best we can possibly be, just like Jo Mersh!
Last week, St. Teresa visited the CLC centre in Camden. We were taught by a very lovely lady called Sarah, who showed us how to use the programme 'Scratch Jr' to programme and digitally create 4 scenes from our Literacy story 'The Twits'. We learnt how to create each character from the story, how to programme the characters to make them move, and how to make them talk to one another.
