This half term, Year 3 have been learning all about plants. We started the year by reviewing all the parts of plants that the children already knew from Year 2. Year 3 then learnt various new parts of flowering plants, the role these parts play in pollination and why pollination is so important. We are finishing this unit on understanding plants by looking at seed dispersal. Everyone enjoyed our role play where we acted out the different methods of seed dispersal (water, air, explosive, animal).
