As part of our “Healthy School” work we have had a number of professional athletes visit the school over the last few terms and this week we were delighted to welcome Steve  Frew, a professional gymnast who has represented Great Britain at the Commonwealth Games and won gold!

Steve started the day with a whole-school assembly and shared his story of how he became a gymnast and the challenges he faced to achieve his goals in life. He also worked with every class on exercise activities, to encourage the children to think about ways they can include exercise in their everyday life. Thank you to Steve for helping us to think about how to ‘Be your best’ and be as active and healthy as possible.
