This half term EYFS have been learning all about bears. We have been focusing on different key texts involving bears, including, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' The children have learnt the words to the story using actions and our story maps to help them retell it. With Mr Gamage, the children performed the story using musical instruments to represent each of the different scenes. The children also used playdough and different resources to create they're own bears and talked about what they had made. Finally, they went on a huge adventure to the Key Stage 1 playground (as there had been a sighting of a bear there...) The children in EYFS travelled through the long, wavy grass, the deep, cold river and swirling, whirling snowstorm and found a... BEAR!!
