Covid-19 Vaccine Information
Dear Parents/Carers,
Camden Council has provided some useful information regarding Covid-19 vaccinations. Please see below for walk-in dates.
Coronavirus cases are rising across London so we’re encouraging everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Getting vaccinated will protect yourself and loved ones, and will help to prevent further spread of the virus.
Over the coming days, there are lots of opportunities to get vaccinated in different locations across Camden - either on our vaccine bus, at a vaccination event or at a walk-in clinic. In addition, there is a vaccine bus pop-up for Autistic Londoners taking place in Islington today (Tues, 29 June) until 7pm. The bus is being adapted to make it as Autism-friendly as possible and Autistic Londoners who want to be vaccinated are encouraged to come along and be supported to get the vaccine.
See below for more details on dates, times and how to book which can also be found on our website at camden.gov.uk/getting-the-vaccine. You don’t need to be registered with a GP or have an NHS number and we won’t ask for proof of ID, address or immigration status.
Alternatively, residents can continue to book a vaccine appointment by calling 119 for free or visiting nhs.uk/coronavirusvaccine. Those not registered with a GP can complete the form at camden.gov.uk/form and anyone needing support to book an appointment can call us on 020 7974 4444 (option 9).
On an aside, there’s an Instagram Live event taking place online on Wednesday, 30 June at 6pm (note: this is a change of date from the one given out on Friday) for young people about COVID-19, vaccines and mental health. It’ll be hosted by Young Harrow Foundation and Kooth and people can join through the @youngharrowfoundation Instagram account.
