The children in EYFS have been learning all about Diwali. They listened to the story of Rama and Sita, made puppets and retold the story by acting it out. They looked at how Hindus will be celebrating the festival with lots of lights and bright rangoli patterns. They then made their own salt dough and moulded the dough to make a diva lamp. The children in EYFS also made rangoli patterns using coloured sand and numicon.
