This half term we are making toys with a moving cam. In previous lessons, we looked at different toys with cams, thought about which were the most effective and then designed our own version. In this lesson, we used different materials to make the frame for our toy. We carefully measured the length of each piece of wood and used a hacksaw to cut them. Then, once we had all of our pieces correctly cut, we used a glue-gun to hold our frame together. Next week, we will be working on securing the sides of our frames and attaching our moving cam.
