Euro's Final Update

As we all know, our valiant team did not quite make it!

We lost to Italy on penalties in the final last Sunday night.

Congratulations to England for getting to the final and giving the whole nation something to cheer about!

Congratulations to St Bernadette who drew Italy and were supporting them (although sometimes reluctantly!)

Well done for being good sports St Bernadette!

To celebrate being winners we gave St Bernadette a small, tasty treat (unhealthy this time- but it was hard work supporting the team that faced England in the final!)

Unfortunately after the match, 3 of our young black players were racially abused after they missed their penalties. They had tried their best throughout the tournament but failed to score in that highly pressurised situation as many players before them have, including famously, the England manager, Gareth Southgate.

To Rashford, Sancho and Saka, St Dominic’s Stands with Our Three Lions!!!
