This week in St Joseph’s class we have been learning about bonfire night and fireworks. We built our own bonfire by making logs using rolled up cardboard and painting them we then adding fire that we decorated and shredded tissue paper. We used lots of different resources to make fireworks including pompoms and tweezers, pipe cleaners with beads, chalk and salt firework pictures. Lots of these activities help to make our fingers strong, and help us to hold a pencil well. We made up our own firework actions for the different fireworks we have learnt about. We finished the week by having hot chocolate around the bonfire we made.
