This week in St Josephs class we have been reading the book ‘Little Glow’. The books shows us how candles and lights are used in lots of different festivals and celebrations. This week we thought lots about birthdays and how we celebrate our birthdays, we learnt how to use water paints to paint a cake we would like to eat, we made party hats and decorated them with pictures of balloons, flowers and friends. Some children were very focused and used their phonics to write a birthday card to a friend or family member.
Nursery also made some yummy cupcakes which we all decorated to eat at our birthday party on Friday
