Growing beans

Three weeks ago we put a bean in a bag to watch it grow, every few days since we have taken them down from the window to look and discuss changes we could see. We talked about why some beans had grown faster than others, and spent a time looking at the roots and learning about why the roots are imports and why we need to be careful with them.
This week lots of the beans have grown so much that we needed to take them out of the bags and plant them in a pot with soil. We are excited to watch how they continue to grow over the next two weeks.
