This week, EYFS have continued learning all about transport. On Tuesday, the children went on a trip in the local area to experience different transport types. The children were very excited to take the Overground Train from Gospel Oak to Hampstead Heath and then the bus back to school again. They learnt how to be safe pedestrians and talked about crossing the road safely when the green man showed us we could go. We had lots of fun talking about the things we could see and the children even recognised the number of the bus and how many minutes we had to wait for the next train. The children were especially excited to make a detour into a shop at Hampstead Heath to buy a special treat and were very polite customers. Well done EYFS superstars!
