We have had such a busy week in EYFS learning how to be a farmer! We looked at maps of farms and talked about how to get from one side of the farm to certain animals before designing our own farms and giving our friends instructions on how to move around the farm. Lots of children were interested in how we get milk from a cow, so after learning how this happened we practiced milking a 'cow', we had to be carefully not to squirt it on ourselves! We have also made lots of different animal masks from our story 'What the Ladybird heard' by Julia Donaldson.
