The school has received the following information from the Parish. Please have a read. Thank you.

 

Dear Parents / Guardians,

We have today received guidance from the Catholic Bishops in this country concerning the celebration of the sacraments during the Coronavirus outbreak.

 

As you will see elsewhere, there will be no Mass celebrated in public after Friday morning. Other public celebration of the sacraments will also stop for the time being. This includes First Reconciliation and First Communion celebrations planned for March to June.  These will be rescheduled when we can celebrate them as a community and also invite your wider families and close friends to participate.

 

We have also been instructed to stop group meetings in parishes. Therefore the preparation meetings for First Reconciliation and First Communion will no longer take place in the church buildings with immediate effect and until further notice. 

However, in the next few days, we will be considering how to get formation material to you and your children using IT and perhaps online streaming. We will be in touch about this in due course.

 

Clearly we are sorry about the disappointment and inconvenience these decisions cause, but we hope you understand that these measures are necessary to protect everyone's health. 

 

Please keep each other in prayer, and be assured of our prayers and thoughts for all of you.
