Our children’s safety is the most important priority for all of us. With recent community events, it is very important we all continue to work together to help our children be as aware as possible of any safety issues within our local community. A letter was sent to all parents earlier this week by Ms Giverin, our safeguarding lead, to let you know about a really valuable workshop that is taking place for the children and also for parents/carers. This workshop will take place in school on Friday 20^th September from 9.00am to 10.40am. This will offer all parents an opportunity to come and learn about gangs, gang culture and recruitment to help recognise the early warning signs of possible gang recruitment and strategies to protect children.
