On Monday Year 1 arrived into school to find some very mysterious-looking penguin footprints and snowflakes... a trail left from a penguin, a penguin missing from Antarctica!

We shared the story ‘Lost and found'- All about the missing penguin from Antarctica.

Year 1 decided that the best way to help the penguin was to create a 'Missing' poster. The children used their literacy skills to create a character description for the penguin so others knew exactly what they were looking for. They worked hard to collect adjectives to describe the penguin and researched facts about penguins which they included in their 'Missing Penguin' posters. Well done Year 1!
