Nisa Store Donation
We are delighted to let you know that our local Nisa store in Queens Crescent has made a very generous donation of £500 to the school. This is the third time Nisa has selected our school to benefit from their work in the local community and we are very appreciative of their support towards the school.
Sultan Rahman, a representative from Nisa joined us at assembly to present the cheque, the photo below shows him with a group of pupils representing the school. He spoke to the children about how Nisa is very appreciative of the fantastic support it receives from the children and families at this school and wanted to give something back to help the school community. We have recently had to consider replacing several picnic benches in the Key Stage 2 playground as they have become quite worn out and not in the condition we want for the children to use. We have now replaced the benches and the Nisa £500 donation paid for half the total cost of new benches. Thank you very much to Nisa for their generosity helping us fund resources that are used every breaktime by the children.
