Phased Return of Schools from 1st June

19th May 2020

For the Attention of Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 Parents/Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you know, the Government has announced the phased return of schools from 1st June.

In order for us to make the appropriate arrangements, we would ask you to let us know whether you wish your child to return to school from 1st June.

Please be aware:

  1. Your child may not be placed with their class teacher or within friendship groups.
  2. After school clubs will not take place.
  3. In order to socially distance, we are considering the staggered return of some year groups.
  4. Provision will be made for key worker children as normal.

Your response does not commit you to any decision either now or at a later stage but does give us an indication of how many children may be returning in these specified year groups if we are able to open for them. If you have a child in more than one of these year groups, please let us know separately about each child. It would be helpful if you could let us know by the end of day Wednesday 20th June.

Please respond to the school mobile via text on 07907021017 and include your child’s name, year group and ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ if you wish for your child to return on 1st June. We will contact you with further details in due course. Please rest assured that we are working tirelessly to prepare for a safe return where possible.

Yours sincerely,

Miss J O’Prey
