As you know this term, our whole school took part in the Race to Health competition which involved schools from Camden, Islington and Southwark participating in an online race to reach Tokyo. 

 

Each week, the children had to enter the amount of active exercise minutes they were participating in - outside and inside of school.

 

Under extraordinary circumstances,  pupils from all of the participating schools logged nearly 1,000,000 active minutes over the 3 weeks. 

 

That’s over 15000 hours of activity….. or just under 629 days!

 

St Dominic’s came 1st in the race and logged 99878 total minutes!!!

 

A truly amazing challenge; proving our children are currently the most active in Camden!!

 

The children have received individual certificates on their profile accounts and as a school we will be receiving a very special trophy from Camden in September…
