This week we have been learning about how to stay safe near the roads. We started by thinking about why it can be dangerous when we are near the road and why it’s important to follow some simple rules. We made our own roads in the playground and practised crossing them. Some Reception children then asked if we could go and cross a real road outside of school and wrote letters to Ms Giverin and Miss Rees asking if we could go. The Reception children then went in small groups to practise what they had learnt and how to stay safe. All the children listened really well and remembered to Stop, Look and Listen.
