School Success Recognised For Second Year
At the end of summer term last year we were very proud to let you know that the combined reading, writing and maths Year 6 results in 2018 were the third highest in Camden schools at 91%.
The hard work and effort of all members of our school community is seen in the continued improvement in school results and the school was delighted to receive a letter this week about these fantastic results from the Department of Education.
The letter was received from the Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP (Secretary of State for Education) and the Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP (Minister of State for School Standards) and congratulates the school on the very high level of progress that our Year 6 pupils made in their reading, writing and mathematics in 2018.
The results mean that the school is amongst the top 3% of schools in England in terms of the progress pupils made between key stage 1 and the end of key stage 2, preparing them for a successful secondary education and beyond.
This is the second year running that the school has been recognised for the high standards achieved by our pupils and which are in the top 3% of schools in England in both 2017 and 2018. We are very proud of our pupils and it is lovely to see their achievements celebrated in this way. The letter from the Department of Education is a recognition of the hard work of our fantastic pupils and committed team of staff. Thank you to them and to parents and families for your continued support. Please take a look at the letter below.
