The Coronavirus outbreak has caused widespread concern over recent weeks and all schools are receiving daily guidance from the Government (Public Health England) and local authorities about how to respond.

 

At this stage all schools are still open, except any individual schools advised to close by Public Health England. However, Government advice about any actions being taken may change quite rapidly and we will keep parents updated as soon as possible.

 

We have been trying to continue with school life as normally as possible in the last few weeks and have been encouraging the children to follow the health advice about frequently washing their hands. We are now considering whether trips planned for the next few weeks should go ahead and will notify parents as soon as possible of any changes. As trips can involve tube or bus travel and involve the children being in contact with large groups of people, it may be necessary to postpone these.
