School Update- Monday 1st June
Dear Children, Parents and Carers,
We hope you are all continuing to stay well and enjoyed the beautiful weather over the half term break.
School reopened today for keyworker and other eligible children and later this week we will also be welcoming back Year 1 children who are returning to school. Next week, we welcome back a number of our Year 6 and Reception children. A letter for parents of children in these year groups was added to the website on Friday 22nd May and outlined the arrangements for each year group.
Thank you to all the parents/carers who had been contacting us during the final week of school to let us know if your child would be returning and we are continuing to contact parents in these year groups about their plans.
The arrangements for home learning remain the same in this final half term. Your child's teacher will add a weekly class letter and suggested learning activities to the website at the beginning of each week and we recommend children continue to access the daily online Literacy and Maths lessons available on the Oak Academy Trust website.
A letter with information about learning at home and at school during this half term has also been added today to the website. We are conscious of the difficulties families may have accessing online learning resources and are continuing to make paper home learning packs available for any parents who require them. Please phone or email the school office if you need to collect a home learning pack.
We hope you all have a good week and please contact the school about any queries or any other concerns you may have.
From everyone at St. Dominic's.
