Science Week at St Dominic's

We have recently been celebrating British Science Week here at St Dominic’s!!

 

Science week is a national ten-day celebration  of science, technology, engineering and maths. Each Science week has a theme and this year the theme was, "Innovating for the future."  

 

At St Dominic’s the children took part in a competition to design an invention to fit in with this theme. The children worked incredibly hard on their designs for the future and demonstrated their amazing imaginations- the entries ranged from Doctor-bots to shoes that enable the wearer to fly!
