This term Year 1 have been studying 'Animals' as part of their Science Unit.

They have worked together to identify and name a variety of common animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. This week Year 1 have been exploring different animals groups, based upon their characteristics. They have been recording facts about different animals groups E.g. Mammals are warm blooded and placing them on our working wall. Year 1 have also been naming and sorting animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.
