Start of Term Arrangements
Dear Parents/Carers,
I am just writing to inform you about how we plan to open school in September.
Although many restrictions were lifted on 19th July all schools were advised to keep their current measures in place until September. When September arrives we are hoping that we can return to “normal,” at school without the restrictive bubble system.
However, we have to be mindful of the possibility that the national situation may well change between now and September. At the moment sadly, we know that infections are on the rise, not only in Camden, but also nationally. Therefore to avoid having to change arrangements, which would cause confusion at the start of the year, we have decided that we will carry on with our current procedures at the beginning of the Autumn term, with a view to returning back to normal as soon as possible.
This means that we will continue with the staggered entry at the 4 main gates as follows:

We will also continue with other measures such as staggered break and lunchtimes, social distancing wherever possible and increased hand hygiene and ventilation.
At this time schools have not had direct guidance about re-opening in September from the DFE. When we receive this we will be reviewing these measures and our risk assessment, so that it is in line with any advice given to us by the DFE.
Don’t forget
- School closes at 1.25/1.30 TOMORROW
- Children return to school on FRIDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER
Many thanks,
The Leadership Team
