Dear Parents and Carers,
At our most recent governor meeting, Miss O’Prey and Ms Giverin shared the Remote Learning Parent Feedback Survey the school undertook with you all during this last lockdown. It is very helpful for the school to hear your feedback on the remote learning and thank you for taking the time to respond. We were very pleased to see that the majority of you who responded felt that on the whole, your children had received the right amount of work and that the school were providing high-quality videos and resources to support remote learning.
This last year has certainly been a challenging one and schools have had to rise to the occasion very quickly to try and avoid children missing out on their learning. As parents and carers, you too, have had to make great sacrifices with many of you having to work from home and managing the children at the same time. Thank you to all of you for the support you have given the children with their remote learning and for your understanding and cooperation with the school during this period.
The school staff were so pleased to welcome the children back to school on the 8th March and we are sure that the children too, were pleased to be back in their classrooms and being with their friends.
May we wish you and your children and families, a very holy and joyful Easter and break.
With all good wishes,
The governors of St Dominic’s.
