In our first lesson, we ordered different writing instruments on a timeline and learnt that people used to make pens out of reeds, and other natural materials. We collected sticks from outside and made our best efforts to write with them. We did extremely well! 

We also shared our work with the year six children who asked us questions about our learning- we loved working with them!
