We are very excited to see all of our wonderful Year 1 children back to school after the Summer holidays! This week year 1 have been settling into their new classroom and getting stuck into lots of fun learning activities. Year 1 have been creating their own factfiles and self portraits, sharing all of their favourite things with Miss McKay and Mrs Dawson.

Year 1 also became Scientists this week as they began their investigation into the Human Body. They labelled the different parts of the body using post it notes and used their knowledge to identify the functions of each body part.
