Online Behaviour Stars
Safer Internet Day 2022
Safer Internet Day was celebrated globally on 8th February to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people, and to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly and respectfully. The theme this year is ‘All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online’.
Our Camden Online Behaviour Stars (COBS) created a video presentation which was shared with each class to help pupils identify disrespectful behaviour online and equip them with the tools to respond should they experience this.
Here are some top tips from our COBS:
· Lily says, “Think before you send something because you may hurt somebodies feelings.”
· Rocco says, “Never give out your address or personal details.”
· Isabella says, “If something makes you feel uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult such as a teacher or parent.”
Below is a Parent/Carer Factsheet with information on how you can support your child to stay safe online.
