Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Inspired by our Catholic faith, at St. Dominic's School  we want to provide all pupils, including those whose families face many challenges, with the best possible teaching and learning opportunities. Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate this funding.

What is the pupil premium?
The Pupil Premium is additional funding to help schools close the attainment gap between children from low-income and other disadvantaged families and their peers.

Who is the Pupil Premium for?
The Pupil Premium is primarily aimed at pupils who are from low income families and are eligible for Free School Meals including any child that has been registered from FSM in the past 6 years known as Ever 6 FSM.

It is also aimed at children who have been looked after continuously for more than 6 months or the children of Service families.

How much Pupil Premium did the school receive?

In 2021/22, our total funding for pupil premium is £138,340.
