SEND and Local Offer
The school is committed to practices and procedures that respect and value all children equally and ensure that all children are supported thoroughly, whatever their educational needs. Our SEN Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the provision in this area. Children are generally supported during the Literacy Hour and Numeracy Hour. The support can be one to one and in small groups. Parents/carers are very much involved and informed at every stage of the SEN provision.
All children with SEN will have their own Provision map or an Individual Education Plan drawn up in consultation with parents/ carers, the SENCO and class teachers. Outside agencies such as Speech and Language therapists and Occupational therapists also offer a valuable service to support children with specific needs.
The School's Accessibility plan has recently been reviewed and is available below.
